A POTD & Foundation Routine

Hey Girls!

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend so far! I have had a great weekend, I had family come over from the USA and the weather was actually really good. For anyone reading this in the UAE  I am sure you welcomed the slightly cooler weather so we spent the day at Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa- always a great sight!

So anyway, as I was getting my face prepped for our outing I decided that I was going to put up my foundation routine! After moisturising I use my face primers. The two I own are Make up Forever HD primer and Clinique Redness solutions Daily Protective Base SPF 15. I have a love/hate relationship with my Make up Forever HD primer as it seems to work well on some occasions and then on other occasions I feel it gives me an ashy look, I still haven't figured why that is-but I am in love with my Clinique Primer as it just works well for my skin and I use this everyday!
I have TWO foundations that I am currently loving:
Estee Lauder Futurist Age-Resisting Make Up with SPF 15 in Pale Almond 05. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump. I love my foundation to have a pump so that applying it does not make application messy! I only use this one for special occasions as it covers well, blends beautifully and stays put under all weather conditions. Now I'm telling you, I have worn this in HOT HUMID weather and this has not budged! Although for everyday use I feel this one is just a tad heavy.
Then my daily used foundation is Bourjois Healthy Mix in 52 Vanilla. I love this foundation for everyday, as it feels great on the skin and not at all heavy! Just the right amount of coverage and I feel like I get a real healthy dewy look! I actually just repurchased this one as I ran out!

Applying my foundation is nothing fancy- I pump a small amount on the back of my hand and then using my Sarah Ashton foundation brush blend it all over.

I then use my Garnier Caffeine Anti-dark Circles 2-in-1 roller in Fair, under the eyes as concealer as it works really well, I don't get any lines or flakiness and it brightens up my under eye area!

These are the products that work for me but I'd love to hear what works for you!
