INNOXA Bronzing Powder

Hey Girls!

A while back, I posted a pic of a few of the products I bought during the Australian Priceline store special with 40% off all cosmetics. This Innoxa bronzer I picked up for two reasons. One, I had never tried anything from INNOXA and two, I liked the rose imprint that was stamped on the powder, so at 40% off why not?

When I opened my new bronzer, to my surprise I opened up a section that housed a little brush. This brush was super soft and a I like that it was a simple straight brush that I can use to contour. I got the shade DARK as I didnt find that it was too dark.

Innoxa describes this bronzing powder as 'a super silky bronzing powder for a beautiful sun-kissed glow.' I have to agree the formulation is so silky smooth it felt nice when applied, although using the brush I noticed that a lot of the powder began to come undone which should have been like alarm bells to me, although as I went to take a picture of it, it slipped out of my hands and fell onto the floor. The powder came right out and fell onto the ground into sand. :O. So the packaging was definitely not very sturdy, and I guess any powder could have had the same fate although I just wish I would have had a little more time to use this bronzer as I felt it would have been a pretty good drug store bronzer.

On the positive side I have held onto the brush as I believe it works really well in contouring the face, and I am intrigued to try out more Innoxa products.

Have you guys tried INNOXA? Whats your favourite item?

Have a good one!

Limited Edition Eco Tools Beautiful Expressions Kabuki Set.

Hey Girls,

So here I have these adorable set of four kabuki brushes. When I first picked them up, I will be honest, I fell in love with the cute designs and thought they would be perfect for travelling. In the set you get a kabuki brush used to conceal, one to bronze, one to contour and one to buff. Perfect.
They are soo soft, feel amazing and do a great job in blending out products onto the skin. I don't feel I am wasting product with these brushes at all either, as the bristles are dense.
Loving these cute little Kabukis!

What do you think?

Covergirl+OLAY Simply Ageless Serum Primer

Hi Girls,

Hope your all well, the other week while out grocery shopping I noticed the covergirl range was 50% off so I picked up a couple of items and this primer was one of them. I love the fact that its a primer with the added benefit of OLAY ingredients. Now my mum has been using OLAY when it was known as Oil of Ulay, and her skin is beautifully soft and smooth so I had to try this! Covergirl claims this 'serum primer, with ingredients found in OLAY skin care, helps renew skin surface over time and creates a canvas for foundation.'

This pumps out just the right amount to cover the face and neck. The consistency is light and is easily absorbed. I felt my skin felt fresh and smooth and my foundation glided over my skin nicely!

Such a great product which I am hearting at the moment, cant wait to see how this will help my skin!

Have you tried this out? Whats your favourite primer?

Aveeno Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturiser (Fair/Light)

Hey Guys,

Hope you are all well. Now I know that just about everybody out there looks at Jennifer Aniston and thinks she is looking great for her age. So Aveeno, in my opinion did an amazing job in getting Jennifer to market their products because as soon as I seen her Ad, I wanted to try Aveeno. Looking at their range I was impressed at their natural approach to skin care, and so I picked up a hand cream and this tinted moisturiser. Now fast forward six to seven months later, and I am really impressed.

Packaging wise, it is a plastic pump bottle, that locks shut. Does not pump out too much or too little for that matter. I use two pumps if I am wanting more coverage than usual, that being said it is very buildable and evens the tone. It has a fresh, soft floral scent that does not linger for too long. I feel this last well on me easily eight hours. The only complaint that I have is on my bad dry skin days I get a bit of a flaky effect, and fair to light shade is a little darker so if you are pale this might not be for you.

Otherwise great product! Have you tried Aveeno? Whats your favourite product from the brand?

Liquid Eyeliner.

Hey Girls,

Today I am going to show you the liquid eyeliners that I have in my make-up collection. I haven't always been the best at liquid eyeliner-either I have super shaky hands or I haven't matched up the flick on both eyes so a lot of time/effort has gone into my liner. Through the years I have used numerous products and have found that I personally find a shorter felt tip works easier for me! I have been using the Loreal Superliner for a while now and its my favourite, but I had read a lot of good things about the Essence liquid liners so I though I'll give them a try.
The thing with Essence here the liners have no testers and you cant see how the applicator is so these tips are actually more like markers as you will see in the pics below. I dont mind it but the superfine eyeliner was awkward to work with. Pigmentation is really good and the lasting power on both of these Essence liners are amazing! The Essence 'stays no matter what' liner did just that it stayed- I actually had a black shadow of the liner after I had removed it.
I also picked up the Innoxa liner recently as I thought a colour liner will be great for a pop of colour and its a really nice purple shade with a nice applicator tip.

Bat a Fake Lash!

Hey Girls,

If you have been reading my blog you would know that I LOVE false eyelashes! I think that they are just amazing at giving your complete eye look that little something extra! There is a blogger based in Dubai Huda Kattan who shares my love for lashes and she has released her own lash line and I am dying to get my hands on them! But for now they are only available at Sephora at Dubai Mall. So anyway, I went out shopping and found these 'lovely lashes' reduced and I had to pick them up! They look really nice and at $2 they are too hard to pass!

Dont they look just lovely! :)
