INNOXA Bronzing Powder

Hey Girls!

A while back, I posted a pic of a few of the products I bought during the Australian Priceline store special with 40% off all cosmetics. This Innoxa bronzer I picked up for two reasons. One, I had never tried anything from INNOXA and two, I liked the rose imprint that was stamped on the powder, so at 40% off why not?

When I opened my new bronzer, to my surprise I opened up a section that housed a little brush. This brush was super soft and a I like that it was a simple straight brush that I can use to contour. I got the shade DARK as I didnt find that it was too dark.

Innoxa describes this bronzing powder as 'a super silky bronzing powder for a beautiful sun-kissed glow.' I have to agree the formulation is so silky smooth it felt nice when applied, although using the brush I noticed that a lot of the powder began to come undone which should have been like alarm bells to me, although as I went to take a picture of it, it slipped out of my hands and fell onto the floor. The powder came right out and fell onto the ground into sand. :O. So the packaging was definitely not very sturdy, and I guess any powder could have had the same fate although I just wish I would have had a little more time to use this bronzer as I felt it would have been a pretty good drug store bronzer.

On the positive side I have held onto the brush as I believe it works really well in contouring the face, and I am intrigued to try out more Innoxa products.

Have you guys tried INNOXA? Whats your favourite item?

Have a good one!

TAG: How much does your face cost? $$$

Heya!

So I have seen this tag and always enjoy reading them and even though this was going around a while ago I decided that I still wanted to do it and just see how much I am putting onto my face everyday. So here it is and enjoy!

First I apply my moisturiser which at the moment is L'oreal Triple Active Day cream for dry and sensitive skin as all my travelling has made my skin really parched, I can honestly say this cream has helped my skin recover a little as I had really dry, red patches along the sides of my nose and forehead and this has managed to calm it down, although i feel that my skin still needs something. I am nearly out of this so if anyone has dry sensitive skin and has found the moisturiser that has worked for them please let me know! This was purchased overseas and will see if it is available here in Australia.
Cost $8.

Next I apply my Clinique Redness Solutions Daily Protective Base SPF 15, which if you have been reading my blog form the very beginning you will know that this has been one of my go to products.

Cost $35.

Then I apply my Aveeno Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturiser in fair to light. I will be reviewing this one for you guys so I wont go into too much detail.

Cost $14.

To get my eyes done I use Maybellines Colour Tattoo ($10) in On and On Bronze, lightly on the lids, and Maybellines Volume Express falsies flared mascara ($16) followed by lining my waterline with Maybellines Colossal Kajal ($8) eyeliner in Bllack/Noir.

Cost $34.

Under eye concealer for everyday use I use the Garnier Anti-Dark Circle Roll on in Light.

Cost $11.

I like to add some colour to my face with Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer.

Cost $20

Finally a wash of colour on my lips using Maybellines Color Whisper lip colour in Lust For Blush.

Cost $12.

That is a total of $134. WOW that's just for daily use, I think i will just keep this to myself and not tell my husband. ;) Now for a group shot.

Hope you guys enjoyed this as much as I did, now tell me how much does your face cost?

Urban Decay NAKED Flushed Palette-Review

Hey Guys!

While I was away on holiday, I couldn't pack as much make up as I wanted to, so I needed to think of what I needed and pack accordingly. Thats where Urban Decays NAKED Flushed palette came into play. I had purchased it although it sat in my make up shelf neglected. it looked too pretty to touch I have to admit. But it was a perfect travel companion in one sturdy hard light weight case my bronzer, blush and highlighter-sorted! My skin is fair so I believe that this bronzer was perfect shade for that subtle colour and the blush and highlighter were just beautiful I love this little palette soo much! The blush was a nice rose pink that blended smoothly and the highlighter was a nice light champagne that gave such a beautiful glow to the skin! Oh and there is a handy little mirror great for touch ups!

If you haven't already gotten your hands on this little beauty then go out and get it worth every dollar! I would love to know what is your favourite bronzer/blush/highlighter.

My Summer Travelling Essentials!

Hey Girls!

Hope your all doing great! Todays post is about my summer travelling essentials. These products I have been using a lot over the past couple of months and I find that they have worked for me! So here they are!

1- Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream:

This is my one stop shop for all my daily facial needs! In one step I moisturise, apply sunscreen and foundation. For my review click here.

2- Dior Amber Diamonds Face Powder:

I LOVE using this as my highlighter during the day and night as it gives me just the right amount of natural glow without the glitter! Check out my review here.

3- Bourjois Bronzing Powder:

I carry this with me but I use a little amount only to contour my face. It is just the right shade and isn't shiny on the face and stays put.

4- Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Pencil (in 071 Pure White):

Perfect for the wide doll eye effect especially when your travelling.

5- Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze and Eternal Gold:

These cream eye shadows are my most treasures items. Perfect for travelling or anyone on the go! Using my fingers I give a quick sweep of the shade I'm in the mood for and and I am done! Lasts all day long without creasing!

6- Maybelline Colour Sensation Lipstick in 190 Atomic Pink:

I really love this shade especially now in Summer as it is feminine and fun great for the summer nights out.

7- Lancome Lip Gloss in shade 321:
When I'm not rocking lipstick I love using lip gloss and this one I have been reaching for a lot lately. Keeps my lips soft, glossy and just a hint of colour. I also love the applicator really soft!

8- Clinique High Impact Mascara 01 Black:

This mascara really works well for my lashes a few coats and my lashes look thick and luscious without feeling heavy or brittle.

So these are my summer travel essentials that I have been reaching for constantly as I have been travelling- what are your travel essentials?

Stay tuned as I have another giveaway coming up really soon!

Have a great day!
